In the flying snow of the Sankoh prairie in southern China’s Gansu Province, Tashi, a Tibetan little boy accompanies his mother milking the cow. The snow in the background is pure and ethereal, displaying the holy natural beauty of Tibet; the contrast of the realistic image in the close view and surreal vast skyline in the distance brings depth and layers to the painting. The work emphasizes the innocence and perseverance of the boy’s eyes in an extremely cold environment,arousing the audiences’ tender affection for the boy and praise for the vitality of life.

赵龙，1975年生于黑龙江密山。现为哈尔滨师范大学美术学院美术教育系主任、黑龙江美术家协会理事、中国美术家协会会员。

Zhao Long: Born in 1975 in Mishan, Heilongjiang Province, Zhao works as dean of the Fine Arts Education Department under the Fine Art College of Harbin Normal University, a council member of Heilongjiang Artists Association and a member of China Artists Association.

北方冰城哈尔滨的冬晨安详、宁静、充满生机。消融的建筑物与树木的轮廓犹如弥散的青烟，飘向历史的深空。远景透视的构图好似一幅远逝的历史镜头，现实的视觉经验与鲜明的水彩语言相结合，孕育出城市变迁的历史图景。作者作为一个亲历者，静静地守望着城市从沉睡中苏醒的一刻，致以亲切而温暖的问候。

The morning of Harbin, a city of ice and snow in northeastern China, is serene, peaceful and vibrant in winter. The outline of the buildings and trees melt like a diffused mist flowing far into the past. The perspective in the composition seems like a fading footage of history. The real life visual experience blends with vivid watercolor,creates a scroll of city landscape changes in history. The artist, as a witness of such changes, is quietly waiting for the moment of its awakening from its sound sleep to give his warm and dearest greetings.

毓鑫，1978年生于辽宁沈阳。现为沈阳航空航天大学艺术学院美术系主任、中国美术家协会会员。

Pastel is outstanding in portraying realistic themes, which can be evidenced in a female body in the picture. Although painted with pastel pigment, it presents the tactile appeal of oil paintings. 作者以秋荷为主题，展现枯与荣的自然规律，诠释对生命的深入思考。墨色的水与金色的荷形成强烈的视觉效果，代表着生生不息与灿烂辉煌，仿佛奏响了自然界的华彩乐章，给观者无限的遐想和美的感受。在技法上，作者继承了漆画中的传统戗金工艺，独创跳刀刻法，不仅提高了作画的速度，也丰富了漆画独有的艺术魅力。

Through the theme of “autumn lotus,” Wang illustrates the vicissitude of life as the law of nature and expresses his profound understanding of life. The contrast of ink-colored water and golden lotus creates a powerful visual effect, representing the glorious, endless successions of life，like a symphony of nature, leading the audience into a wild imagination. As for techniques, the artist inherited the method of “qiang jin” (to draw golden lines or dots onto lacquer work with needles or gravers) used in traditional lacquer painting, and incorporated his own invention of “graver hopping” which has not only shrank the time of creation, but also enriched the unique glamour of lacquer painting.

叶盛兰，女，1987年生于福建南平。现为职业画家。

With the uniquely delicate and fresh aesthetic of a female, Ye creates an atmosphere as glorious and romantic as the Garden of Eden. The girls depicted here are beautiful and natural. The appliance of dark colored lacquer creates the secluded valley in the background, and gilding and silver tinsel make them surrounded by gorgeous flowers like fallen angels. When admiring the work, the audience will soon find themselves falling into the pure and graceful mystery of girls’ meditation with inner peace and harmony.

庄春青，女，1977年生于山东青岛。现为北京工业大学艺术设计学院讲师、中国包装联合会设计委员会委员。

人是自然的一部分，脱离自然，人类无法孤独生存。中国传统文化即讲求天人合一，强调人与自然相互依存、同为整体。作品采用金属、原木为设计材料，运用金属与大漆工艺制作而成，塑造小鸟在枝头片刻休憩的小景，将人造物与自然物有机结合，构成形式美感，进而探索人与自然的微妙关联，揭示自然万物和谐共生的深刻逻辑。

Part of nature, man cannot survive without nature. China’s traditional culture values the harmony between man and nature and emphasizes the interdependence as an indivisible whole. Zhuang applies metal and wood as design materials and uses metal and lacquer to create a small scene of a little bird resting on a tree. The work combines artifacts and natural objects to constitute a form of beauty, inspiring the audience to explore the subtle association between man and nature while revealing the profound truth of the harmony between the two.

刘晓东，1977年生于山东莱芜。现为山东省漫画家协会副秘书长、泰安市漫画家协会副主席。

Liu Xiaodong: Born in 1977 in Laiwu, Shandong Province, Liu works as deputy secretary general of Shandong Cartoonists Association and vice chairman of the Cartoonists Association of Tai’an City.

信息科技改变着人们的生活，手机、互联网逐渐取约会聊天等传统的交流方式。作品创意取自米卡朗琪罗经典名作《创造亚当》的局部，在上帝赋予亚当灵魂和力量的两只手之间添加了手机。作品技法写实，言简意赅，回味悠长，表现出漫画语言的特征与魅力，令观者不禁发问：信息时代的沟通方式究竟是拉近还是疏远了彼此的距离？

Information technology is changing our lives. Mobile phones and the internet are gradually supplanting traditional ways of communication. The work leveraged one part of Michelangelo’s classicCreation of Adam, where God gives Adam life with a mobile phone in his hand. The technique makes the work realistic, simple and straightforward, with a lingering aftertaste. The painting depicts the characteristics and the charm of caricature language and poses a question: “Is the means of communication in the information age bringing people closer together or making them more estranged?”

肖文津，1968年生于天津。现为山东工艺美术学院副教授、山东省漫画家协会副主席、山东省壁画艺术研究院理事。

Xiao Wenjin: Born in 1968 in Tianjin, Xiao works asan associate professor at Shandong Institute of Arts and Crafts, vice chairman of Shandong Cartoonists Association, and a council member of Shandong Mural Research Institute.

“世界上最遥远的距离不是生与死，而是我们坐在一起，你却在低头玩手机。”如今老友聚会，说不了几句话，就会各自看手机。手机在为人们提供沟通便利的同时，却又造成了个体之间的疏离。作品以达·芬奇的世界名画为蓝本，尽力表现每个画中人物不同情态。画面中央的耶稣摊开双手，那无奈的眼神也许正是我们每个人的写照。

"The world's most remote distance is not life and death, but everyone playing with his own mobile phone while sitting together." Nowadays, when old friends get together, after a few words, everyone turns their eyes to their mobile phone. As it makes communication more convenient, the internet inhibits people from natural communication face-to-face. Here, Xiao Wenjin leverages Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting in an attempt to exhibit a different posture and mood for each figure – a portrait of each one of us today: Jesus sits in the middle with his hands spreading out, looking so helpless.
