Happiness has been defined as both pleasure received and given. To some they tend to be more happiness when they are on the receiving end, when they are benefiting from the service or a material gift of another. However many others feel that happiness comes from giving. To give of ones self can be the most joyful experience. There are many ways to give of ourselves. One way in which many give of themselves is through love, either for their children (which is a special source of happiness all its own) or for the fellow man. I myself have not had the privilege(权利) of having children of my own, but hope one day to have this source of happiness. I have several siblings(兄弟) who are partaking(分享) of this joy, I see the love they have for their children and likewise(同样) the love being returned. To a child happiness can be the simple joy from playing with a new friend or even a new toy. Young children tend to find happiness much easier than teens(少年) or adults. There are several sources of happiness, some temporary(暂时), others more long term. Teens seem to find happiness spending time with their friends or peers(伙伴). Adults likewise(同样) seek happiness from their friends or hobbies(兴趣). One source of happiness for me is classic(古典) cars. I love to look at all types of old cars and trucks, both restored and unreturned. I sold my 1949 GMC pickup in January of 2002 so I can move and marry my finance. I was married on March 28, 2002, which let me partake of a great new happiness and new chapter of my life. On March 22,2004 My wonderful wife let me purchase a new project, a 1955 first series 3/4 ton pickup. Where do we go to find true or full happiness? Full happiness comes from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In the world today there is so much evil, so many things that cause people remorse, if someone does not stay focused, then it is easy to fall into depression or hatred.

1. Whether one is happy or not is decided by his feeling. Anyone can be happy or unhappy. True achievement lies in our struggling towards happiness. However, it seems quite strange to many people that we make an effort to be happy. We just assume that it’s the feeling which comes as a result of good things brought to us.

2. To be happy, we should try to do three things: Firstly, we should try to realize that unhappy things also exist in others’ live. Secondly, we should try to get rid of such imagination. Thirdly, we should try to explore whether acquiring our lost things will really make us happy. As to the lost things, there being many choices, we can get it again, replace it , forget it or focus on the things what we have now. It all depends on ourselves.

3. To be happy, we should try to avoid comparing with others, imaging to be perfect or worrying about losing title. Therefore, if we can pay attention to all these things above, I believe that we can be happy finally.

To be happy, firstly, we should try to understand that life is not easy at all to all of us. Difficulties and pressure exist everywhere during our process of making a living. It is unnecessary to complain about it and even become pessimistic. secondly, it is important for us to confront our life with right attitude, to be active and grateful. In spite of suffering from disasters, instead of being sad and negative, we should try to maintain the faith that tomorrow will be another day. We often hear some people saying "I have no choice now." However, this is totally wrong. In fact, at this moment, we still have a choice, to be happy or unhappy.

Meanwhile, to be happy, we have to pay attention to two important points. One is that we should not try to build up our own happiness on she basis of others＇ misery, because that is not real happy. The other is that we＇d better not to pursuit happiness merely for the aim of being happy. If we do so, we will lose more than what we have got.

Above all, no matter what our life will be alike, we should take an active attitude towards life. Don＇t take everything for granted. Feeling our life with a grateful emotion and being open-minded, in that case, we can be happy..
