I often go to see my grandma and grandpa during winter vacation. They are both seventy years old and live in the country happily. I can do many interesting things there. I am used to getting up early in the morning and breathing the fresh air in the countryside. After snow, I would like to skate and ski with my friends. When night comes, I am used to sitting by the fire and listening to grandma telling me many funny stories. And I tell her some new things happening in the city. When I have to go back, I am always reluctant to go. I really feel happy living in the country.

My winter holiday is very dull. I stay at home for most of time. Sometimes I visit my friends and play basketball with them. Sometimes we go shopping.

One day, we go to the KFC. We have hamburgers, chicken coke and French fries. We have sore throats. We go home and have a rest. Then we feel better. We go and play computer games! How mad we are!

This is the only thing I can talk about in the holiday.

In the past, people could not often have meat, rice or other delicious food. They could only eat these during the Spring festival. So every year they hoped that the Spring Festival would come soon. Because most people can have a long holiday, and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family. In the evenings, we can have a big meal in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programmes.
