湖南城建职业技术学院2020年单招英语考试大纲

一、考试目标

公平、科学、规范、准确地测试学生英语语言基础知识和英语语言综合应用能力，其中包括英语语言知识(主要指词汇和结构)的运用能力、阅读能力、初步的语言翻译能力，为使学生能以英语为工具，获取专业所需信息，并为进一步提高英语水平打下较好的基础。

二、考试内容和基本要求

(一)词汇和结构 (Vocabulary and structure)

要求学生掌握常用词汇、短语和语言基本知识。

情态动词can、may、must、should等情态动词在日常生活中的运用

时态语态基本时态用法

被动语态用法

虚拟语气If 虚拟条件句

非谓语动词不定式

现在分词

过去分词

强调句型It is /was + 被强调部分+ that + 句子其它部分

名词性从句同位语从句、主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句

定语从句that,which,who,whom,whose,when,where,why连接词的运用

状语从句连词的运用，如if, unless

倒装Only、否定词置于句首的部分倒装句

It 用法作形式主语和形式宾语的用法

高频词组如：look forward to, come up with, pay attention to ...等

(二)阅读理解(Reading Comprehension)

本部分测试的文字材料包括一般性阅读材料(如文化、社会、常识、科普、经贸、人物等)和应用性文字(如信函、广告、说明书等)，难度适宜。

本部分题型包括2篇阅读，其中一篇为阅读选择题，另一篇为阅读填空回答问题(填写不得超过三个英语单词)。

主要测试以下阅读技能：

1.掌握所读材料的主旨和大意;

2.了解用以阐述主旨的事实和有关细节;

3.根据上下文判断某些生词和短语的意义;

4.理解单词的意义和上下句的逻辑关系;

5.根据所读的材料进行一定的判断、推理;

6.领会作者的观点和态度。

(三) 翻译(Translation)

翻译部分为英汉互译。主要考核考生对英语固定词组、句型、特殊句式、各

种从句等语言基础知识的掌握程度。

英译汉部分：测试考生将英语正确译成汉语的能力。所译材料为英文句子。

汉译英部分：句中的一部分已用英文给出，要求考生根据全句意思将汉语部

分译成英语。

翻译必须符合英语的语法结构和表达习惯，要求用词准确。

三、试题类型及分值

(一)词汇和结构(30分)
